In 2014 Jessica had a terrible accident while training at club cheerleading practice. She landed on her neck while completing a back tuck and was rushed to the hospital. She fractured her C6 vertebrae and underwent numerous surgeries. She has since been rehabbing through C6 quadriplegia and SportSide has been part of the many teams working with her over the past year and a half. nnThere have been many ups and downs over the past year and a half but it has been an inspirational journey.
