This is the 5th year this pair of Yellow Crowned Night Herons nested on this branch and the second year that one of their offspring has nested two trees away.I've been trying to figure out how to get a camera up in the tree without disturbing them these last few years and this year, I finally figured it out.It took a bit of creativity to get a camera 25 ft. up in the tree but I successfully did it on two occasions in June.What the camera revealed looked like something from Jim Henson's Mup
