2019 Debris Flow: After over a year of filming mega sized disasters for the news, 3 Indie films and 3 National TV shows, a remote monitoring camera was pointed at me! It happened while I was chasing and staying just ahead, or so I thought, of a recent storm. I wound up at the San Ysidro Creek Debris Basin and it caught me filming and hightailing out of the area just as a 8' surge of mud and debris appeared in a matter of seconds and overflowed the basin headed for Montecito once again!
