The dynamics of CM15 antimicrobial activity on live E. coli cells was observed by high speed AFM at 18 seconds/frame, with each frame captured at a scan size of 3um at a resolution of 1024x256 pixels. CM15 was introduced into the imaging fluid during continuous imaging at a final concentration of 10ug/mL, as indicated. The initial stages of CM15 activity were observed as an increase in the roughness of the bacterial cell membrane with the onset of these changes occurring at different time points
